New York-based hot Dominican prospect Juan “Baby Tito” Dominguez (13-0, 9 KOs) returned to his homeland to win the first title of his young career – the WBA Fedecentro super-bantamweigh belt – stopping overclassed Geicy Lorenzo (12-6, 4 KOs) in just two rounds. Dominguez dropped Lorenzo in the first round and was battering him in the second round when the referee decided to halt the one-sided affair.

On the same show, Amanda Serrano (16-1 ) of New York won the WIBA featherweight title with a one round knockout of Wanda Pena (8-5), while super bantamweight Leon Moore (29-2, 23 KOs) of Guyana won by TKO in five rounds over Gregorio Lebron. The 11 fight boxing card was held at the Gran Arena del Cibao in Santiago, the Dominican Republic’s second city.
